Pan-Northern Youth Fiddle Summit

Because of the vast geography of the North, youth fiddlers from the different territories have never had the opportunity to meet and share their fiddle traditions, tunes and techniques. 

The Pan-Northern Fiddle Summit is a landmark event that provides a unique opportunity for Northern youth to  share workshops, masterclasses, clinics, jam sessions, concerts, social events and a community dance, all involving instructors from across the North and  Canada. 

The Northern Youth Fiddlers will also perform a specially commissioned arrangement of Northern tunes at the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Competition, and have the opportunity to learn more about national contest fiddling.

Bringing youth fiddlers together creates some incredible music, inspiration and magic! Check out the examples below of other  youth fiddle summits in Western Canada.
