The Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Competition has played a major role in the Canadian fiddling landscape for the past 30 years. This event brings top fiddlers from across Canada to perform  on the Yukon Art Centre stage.

The competition is held annually at the end of August, and approximately 35 fiddlers from across Canada are invited to compete for the title of Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Champion.

The CGM Fiddle Competition was developed to promote and preserve Canadian Traditional Fiddling and provide national recognition to our top Canadian fiddlers. It has been a launching pad for prominent Canadian musicians and Canadian fiddle groups, including Juno winners, Canadian Folk Music Award winners, and international recording & touring artists.
